# Managing Upcoming Calls

> Learn how to view and manage your upcoming scheduled recordings, including disabling calls, updating permissions, and stopping in-progress recordings.

This guide explains how to manage your upcoming calls from within the BuildBetter app. You can view all scheduled recordings, disable them individually or as a series, and proactively adjust permissions before a call starts.

## Viewing Upcoming Calls

You can find a list of your upcoming calls on the **Home** page. Each card displays the meeting title, time, attendees, and meeting platform.

## Disabling an Upcoming Call

To prevent a scheduled call from being recorded, you can disable it directly from the upcoming call card.

1. Locate the call you want to disable in the "Upcoming Calls" list.
2. Click the **Record call** toggle to the "off" position.

This will prevent the BuildBetter bot from joining and recording that specific meeting.

### Disabling Recurring Meetings

If the call is part of a recurring series, you'll be asked if you want to disable recording for only the selected event or for all future events in that series.

* **Disable just this event:** Only the selected meeting will be skipped.
* **Disable all future events:** All subsequent meetings in the series will be skipped.

## Updating Call Permissions

You can set the privacy level for an upcoming call before it begins.

1. Find the call in the "Upcoming Calls" list.
2. Under **Call Access**, select the desired permission level:
   * **Workspace:** Anyone in your workspace can view the recording.
   * **Participants:** Only people who were in the meeting can view the recording.

For more details on permissions, see the [Privacy and Sharing](/pages/Organization/privacy-and-sharing.mdx) documentation.

## Stopping an In-Progress Recording

If you need to stop a recording while it's in progress, you can do so from the call page.

1. Navigate to the call that is currently being recorded.
2. You will see a "Call is being recorded" message.
3. Click the **Stop Recording** button.
4. Confirm that you want to stop the recording.

The bot will immediately stop recording and leave the meeting. The portion of the call that was recorded will be processed and available in your workspace.
