# Enable Meeting Assistant

> Configure the BuildBetter bot to automatically join and record your meetings

The BuildBetter Meeting Assistant is an AI-powered bot that automatically joins your scheduled meetings and records them for analysis. Setup is quick and provides complete control over privacy and sharing settings.

## How It Works

**1. Calendar Detection**

The Meeting Assistant connects to your calendar integration to identify upcoming meetings

**2. Automated Joining**

At the scheduled time, the bot joins your meeting as a participant

**3. Recording**

The bot records the meeting audio and video (if enabled)

**4. Real-time Processing**

Audio is processed in real-time for transcription and analysis

**5. Post-Meeting Summary**

After the meeting, you receive a summary, transcript, and analytics

## Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to configure the Meeting Assistant for your account:

**1. Access Bot Settings**

Navigate to **Settings > Recordings > Meeting Assistant** in your BuildBetter dashboard

**2. Enable the Assistant**

Toggle the "Enable Meeting Assistant" switch to on

**3. Configure Meeting Platforms**

Connect your Zoom, Google Meet, and/or Microsoft Teams accounts

**Zoom**

**1. Connect Zoom**

Click "Connect Zoom Account"

**2. Authorize**

Sign in to Zoom and authorize BuildBetter

**3. Configure Bot Display**

Choose how the bot appears in meetings (name, avatar)

Click "Connect Google Workspace"

**2. Authorize**

Sign in to your Google account and grant permissions

Choose how the bot appears in meetings (name, avatar)

Click "Connect Microsoft Teams"

**2. Authorize**

Sign in to your Microsoft account and grant permissions

**4. Set Privacy Preferences**

Configure your privacy and consent settings
