## Calendar Integration

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Which calendar systems does BuildBetter support?">
    BuildBetter supports Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook/Office 365, and standard iCal/ICS calendar formats. For optimal performance, we recommend using Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook integration.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does BuildBetter modify my calendar events?">
    No. BuildBetter only reads your calendar data to identify meetings - it never creates, modifies, or deletes any calendar events. The calendar integration is read-only.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How does BuildBetter detect meeting links?">
    BuildBetter automatically scans the description/notes section of calendar events for meeting links from supported platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, etc.). For best results, ensure your meeting invites include the conferencing links.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I exclude certain calendars or meetings?">
    Yes. You can choose which calendars BuildBetter monitors, and you can set up rules to exclude certain meetings based on keywords, participants, or time periods.

## Meeting Assistant

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="How does the Meeting Assistant bot join my meetings?">
    The Meeting Assistant uses the conferencing links found in your calendar events to join meetings as a participant. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and other supported platforms.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can meeting participants see the bot?">
    Yes. The Meeting Assistant appears as a regular participant in your meetings with the name and avatar you configure. This ensures transparency about recording.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Does the bot speak during meetings?">
    By default, the Meeting Assistant can announce itself at the beginning of meetings to notify participants of recording. This behavior is customizable in your settings.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="What happens if the bot loses connection during a meeting?">
    The Meeting Assistant will attempt to rejoin automatically. If the disconnection is brief, recording continues seamlessly. For longer disconnections, a partial recording is saved and processed.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I control the bot during a meeting?">
    Yes. You can access Meeting Assistant controls from the BuildBetter dashboard during active meetings to pause, resume, or stop recording as needed.
  </Accordion>

## Troubleshooting

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="The Meeting Assistant didn't join my meeting. What happened?">
    This could occur for several reasons:

    * The meeting platform may be unsupported
    * Meeting link might be missing or in an unrecognized format
    * Your recording rules might be excluding this meeting
    * There might be authentication issues with the meeting platform
    * The bot might have reached connection limitations

    Check your settings and ensure the meeting platform is properly connected.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Why is my recording missing some participants?">
    This can happen when:

    * Participants join after recording starts
    * Participants use dial-in instead of the web interface
    * Network issues affect connection quality
    * Participants have very low speaking volume

    For best results, ensure all participants join using the web interface and speak at normal volume.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="My calendar integration isn't working. How do I fix it?">
    Try these steps:

    1. Verify your calendar permissions are still valid
    2. Refresh the calendar connection in settings
    3. Check that meeting invites contain proper conferencing links
    4. Ensure your recording rules aren't excluding meetings
    5. Contact support if issues persist
