# Dashboard Overview

> Your central hub for accessing BuildBetter's features and tracking workspace activity

The BuildBetter dashboard is your command center—providing instant access to key features, tracking your team's progress, and keeping you informed about upcoming meetings and recent activity.

## Quick Actions

The dashboard presents eight essential actions in an easy-to-access grid layout:

## Home Chat

The Home sidebar tab is a chat-first starting point. It brings together:

* **New Chat** starter prompts and quick actions
* **Getting Started** guidance
* **Upcoming Calls**
* **Favorites**
* Recent agent sessions and chat threads

Use Home when you want to resume recent work or start from a prompt instead of navigating to a specific data page first.

## Workspace Statistics

Track your team's productivity and usage with real-time metrics:

  <Accordion title="Tags Generated" icon="tag">
    Automatic categorization tags created across your content, making it easier to find and organize information.

    Count of insights, feedback, feature requests, and other important signals identified from your conversations.

## Upcoming Events

Stay on top of your meeting schedule with the upcoming events section:

### Event Cards Display

* **Next 4 meetings** shown by default with essential details
* **Meeting information**: Title, date, time, and countdown
* **Platform indicators**: Icons for Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or Webex
* **Attendee preview**: Profile pictures of participants
* **Quick actions**: Open meeting link or copy to clipboard

### Recording Controls

Each upcoming event includes:

* **Recording toggle**: Enable or disable automatic recording
* **Access permissions**: Set who can view the recording (participants only or entire workspace)
* **Recurring meeting support**: Special handling for series meetings

  Connect your calendar to automatically display and manage upcoming meetings. BuildBetter will join and record enabled meetings automatically.

## Recent Activity

### Recent Recordings

View your four most recent call recordings with:

* **Visual preview**: Thumbnail or waveform display
* **Processing status**: See transcription and analysis progress
* **Quick summary**: AI-generated overview of the call
* **Participant details**: Who attended the meeting
* **Actions menu**:
  * Add to favorites
  * Copy shareable link
  * Organize in folders
  * Download recording
  * Delete if needed

### Recent Chats

Access your latest AI assistant conversations:

* **Chat previews**: Name and last updated timestamp
* **Quick resume**: Click to continue any conversation
* **Easy navigation**: "See all" to view complete chat history
* **Recents in Home**: Resume recent chat and agent sessions from the Home experience

* **Time-aware greeting**: Personalized welcome based on time of day
* **Smart empty states**: Helpful prompts when sections are empty
* **Desktop app features**: Additional capabilities when using the desktop application
* **Onboarding guidance**: New users are guided through setup steps

## Navigation Tips

* Use **"See all"** buttons to explore complete lists for each section
* **Keyboard shortcuts** available for power users (press `?` to view)
* **Search bar** at the top for finding any content across your workspace
* **Workspace selector** in the top-left to switch between workspaces
