# Search Overview

> Learn how to effectively search across your BuildBetter workspace.

BuildBetter offers several powerful ways to search and find information across your workspace:

## 1. Dedicated Search Experience

* **URL:** [app.buildbetter.app/search](https://app.buildbetter.app/search)
* **What it does:** Perform a semantic search for keywords, topics, or entities across your recordings, chats, companies, people, documents, folders, and signals.
* **Features:**
  * Toggle each data type (e.g., only search recordings, or only documents)
  * Simple, unified interface for all search needs
  * Fast, relevant results using AI-powered semantic search
* **Best for:** Finding anything, anywhere in BuildBetter. This is the main go-to search experience.

## 2. Search Within Signals

* Use filters and search within the [Signals view](/Signals/overview) to find specific insights, feedback, or extracted data.
* Best for: Narrowing down signals by type, date, or other properties.

## 3. Search Within Recordings

* Use the \[Recordings view]\(/Calls & Recordings/overview) to filter and search your call recordings by title, participants, tags, and more.
* Best for: Quickly finding a specific call or set of calls.

## 4. Search via Chat

* In any chat, you can ask for information (e.g., "Find my last call with Acme Corp" or "Show me all documents about onboarding").
* The chat sidebar also has a search input for quick lookups.
* Best for: Conversational, natural language search and quick access while chatting.
