# Clusters Tab

> Customer signal clusters surfaced into the triage flow — promote a whole cluster to a project in one move

The Clusters tab embeds the [Clusters Discovery](../Home%20Overview/dashboard-overview) experience inline. It's the same view as the dedicated `/clusters` page, scoped to external/customer signals with at least 3 signals per cluster.

Use it to find clusters of customer demand that should become real project work — without leaving Triage.

## Default Filter

The tab loads with:

* **Boundary** — external only (customer signals)
* **Min cluster size** — 3 signals

You can refine the filters inside the embedded view; the **count** in the tab badge stays tied to the default filter (same pattern Signals uses).

## What You See

Each cluster row shows:

* **Title** — AI-generated theme
* **Signal count**
* **Customer count**
* **ARR pill** — cumulative ARR from the cluster's customer companies
* **Trend** — directional indicator (up / down / flat)

Click a cluster to open the detail pane.

## The Detail Pane

The cluster detail shows:

* **Customer list** — every contributing company with ARR
* **Sample messages** — representative quotes from the cluster
* **Acceleration math** — signals-per-hour vs. baseline (catches sudden spikes)
* **Trend chart**

## Actions

The same routing actions are available as for individual signals:

* **AI route** — let the AI suggest the best home (existing project or new one)
* **Promote** — create a new project from the cluster
* **Attach to existing project** — link the cluster's signals to an active project

Promoted clusters are tracked in local state so the same cluster doesn't reappear on subsequent loads.

<Tip>
  Clusters are the right surface for spotting bottom-up customer themes (e.g., "30 customers asking for SSO"). For top-down strategic asks, use the [Signals](./signals) tab — individual high-urgency items.
