Setup Instructions
Prerequisites
- An active BuildBetter account
- A FullStory account with organization ID
- Admin access to BuildBetter
Connecting FullStory
- Go to Settings → Integrations in your BuildBetter dashboard
- Select FullStory from the analytics integrations
- Enter your FullStory organization ID
- Configure privacy settings (what to record/not record)
- Click Connect to activate the integration
Privacy Configuration
For proper data privacy:- Go to the Privacy Settings tab
- Configure which elements should be masked:
- User emails (recommended)
- Chat content (optional)
- Call summaries (optional)
- Document content (optional)
- Save your privacy settings
Usage
Identifying Users
When a user logs into BuildBetter, they’re automatically identified in FullStory with:- User ID
- Name
- Organization name
- Subscription tier
- Account creation date
Tracked Events
The integration automatically tracks these events in FullStory:| Event | Description |

Viewing Session Recordings
To analyze user sessions:- Log in to your FullStory dashboard
- Use search to filter for BuildBetter sessions
- Click on any session to view the complete recording
- Use the event timeline to jump to specific actions

You can correlate FullStory data with your internal metrics:- Use the FullStory segment builder to create user segments
- Export segment data via API
- Combine with your BuildBetter usage data for deeper insights
