Setup Instructions

Prerequisites

  • An active BuildBetter account
  • Monday.com account with board editing permissions
  • API token for Monday.com

Connecting Monday.com

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations in your BuildBetter dashboard
  2. Select Monday.com from the project integrations section
  3. Enter your Monday.com API token
  4. Test the connection and save your settings

Configuring Board Settings

After connecting:

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations → Monday.com → Board Settings
  2. Configure:
    • Default workspace and boards

Usage

Creating Items from Meetings

Create Monday.com items during or after meetings:

  1. Open any recording in BuildBetter

  5. Fill in item details, leveraging the selected transcript content
  6. Submit to create the item in Monday.com

Linking to Existing Boards

Connect meetings to specific Monday.com boards:

  1. From a recording or document, click Link to Board
  2. Search for and select the relevant Monday.com board
  3. Add a reference note (optional)
  4. Save to establish the connection

Automated Action Items

Extract action items as Monday.com tasks:

  1. Go to a meeting recording with a completed transcript
  2. Navigate to the Action Items tab
  3. Review automatically detected action items
  4. Select items to create as Monday.com items
  5. Assign owners and priorities
  6. Submit to create the items in Monday.com

Custom Workflows

Create automation rules between BuildBetter and Monday.com:

  1. Go to Settings → Automation Rules
