Setup Guide

Prerequisites

  1. Notion Requirements:
    • Notion workspace (Team or Enterprise plan recommended)
    • Admin access for integration setup
    • API access enabled
  2. BuildBetter Requirements:
    • Active BuildBetter account
    • Admin privileges for integration setup

Installation Steps

  1. Connect Notion
    • Go to Settings > Integrations in BuildBetter
    • Click “Connect” under Notion
    • Authorize with your Notion credentials
    • Select workspace and pages to connect
  2. Configure Templates
    • Map BuildBetter document types to Notion templates
    • Define where documents should be created
    • Set up automatic organization (folders, tags)
    • Configure property mapping
  3. Test Integration
    • Generate a test document
    • Verify sync behavior
    • Check permission structures

Usage

Generating Documents in Notion

After a recorded meeting:
  • Select “Send to Notion” from the document menu
  • Choose document type and destination
  • Add custom properties or tags
  • BuildBetter creates a formatted document in your Notion workspace
