The Momentum integration enables you to:
  • Import call recordings and transcripts from Momentum
  • Analyze sales and customer success conversations
  • Retroactively backfill historical calls
  • Automatically ingest new meetings as they’re recorded

Setup Guide

Prerequisites

  1. Momentum Requirements:
    • Active Momentum account with recording access
    • Authorization to connect third-party integrations
  2. BuildBetter Requirements:
    • Active BuildBetter account
    • Admin privileges for integration setup

Quick Setup

  1. Connect in BuildBetter
    • Go to Settings → Integrations
    • Select Momentum from the recording import integrations
    • Authenticate with your Momentum account
    • Approve access when prompted
  2. Configure Import Settings
    • Choose a retroactive import window (or skip backfill to only import future recordings)
    • Review the import configuration and save
  3. Start Import
    • Kick off the initial sync
    • New Momentum recordings will continue to flow in automatically

Imported Data

When recordings are imported from Momentum, BuildBetter preserves:
  • Recording audio/video and source URL
  • Full transcript with speaker identification and timestamps
  • Meeting metadata — start time, duration, title
  • Attendees — participants mapped to BuildBetter people/companies where possible

Retroactive Backfill

On first connection you can pick how far back to import. Large backfills are processed in batches — if a sync is interrupted by a rate limit or transient error, BuildBetter resumes it automatically rather than restarting from scratch. You can also trigger a manual resync from the integration settings later.

Limitations

  • One-way import only — recordings flow from Momentum to BuildBetter.
  • Recording or transcript required — meetings without a recording or transcript are skipped.
  • Duplicate meetings — if the same meeting exists in another connected source, BuildBetter merges rather than duplicates.

Troubleshooting

Connection Issues

  • Reauthorize the integration if your Momentum session expired
  • Verify you have permission to share recordings from Momentum

Missing Recordings or Transcripts

  • Confirm the recording has finished processing in Momentum
  • Some recordings may not include a downloadable transcript — those can still be ingested if a recording file is available

Auth or Rate-Limit Errors

  • BuildBetter automatically backs off and retries on rate-limit responses
  • If you see a persistent auth error, reconnect the integration from Settings → Integrations
