Setup can suggest monitored brands, products, competitors, domains, subreddits, and threshold settings automatically.
Social Workspace
The Social page gives you one place to review mentions with filters for:
- Platform: X or Reddit
- Target type: Brand, product, competitor, domain, subreddit, or other configured target
- Status: Review state for triage and cleanup
Mentions can flow into Signals, where they can be filtered by social source.
Connecting Providers
BuildBetter can use managed X and Reddit credentials for supported organizations, reducing setup work. When managed credentials are available, you do not need to bring your own app credentials to start monitoring.
Mention Quality
Social Listening preserves matched terms, filters overly broad suggestions, and avoids rediscovering duplicate mentions. Temporary provider outages or rate limits are handled with retries so monitoring is less likely to miss data.
Start with narrower targets such as product names, exact competitor names, or specific subreddits. Broader brand terms can generate more noise and may need stricter thresholds.
